First time staying in a hostel. Kaz and Joe were amazing hosts - super friendly and gave us many tips about places to visit and things to do. We took a private room; it was clean and sheets were fresh. My only complaint would be in the washroom - that mat in the tub is quite dirty! I would recommend removing it. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.
Wow. I have no idea how we will top the first night stay of our vacation at Not Your Average Hostel. We were blown away by every part of our stay - the gorgeous Victorian home, the stunning scenery and the amazing hospitality of our hosts: Kaz and Joe. We had a blast hanging out with others staying at the hostel, sampling the hosts homemade wine and getting to know one another. The beds were ridiculously comfortable and the common spaces were comfortable and welcoming - especially the sunny little book nook. My family and I loved this hostel and you will too!
Awesome place, everything was super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hosts are extremely nice and accommodating. Very helpful telling you about the area and what to see. I was backpacking through NB just had got finished the Fundy footpath and they helped me out alot even gave me a ride. One of the best hostels and best areas. If you're doing the footpath this is a great place to stay right beside a restaurant to eat, recover and check out the town including the are gallery there building. Thanks a ton guys I will be back.
